Friday

Friday was increddible. My host sister invited me to a function at her high school. It was a presentation of dances and costumes from all around Bolivia. Like I said, it was absolutely amazing..a bunch of 8 year olds dancing for their families the night before Mother´s Day (May 28th). Bolivia is so rich with tradition that some of the outfits worn by the kids were actually being worn by members of the audience. Kids in Cholita outfits dancing for real Cholitas. I used to wonder if my experience in PC would be worth it..Its easy for me to say that any single day I spend here, if I could only have that one day, would still be worth the whole time..as I have said before, and will say again and again, this place is amazing.
