The training center

Right now I am hanging out in the lounge of the training center in Cochabamba. We had a few meetings this morning and are conducting interviews for the rest of the day. We learned how to eat saltenas, basically a baked empenada, and a major staple of the Bolvian diet; you have to eat away at the sides until you get to the juice; then you can sip the juice and finish the rest of the meat, potato, etc. The rooms in the training center are working off of natural heating and lighting; the temperature is an awesome 60 degrees or so.

Outside the window, four sheep are tied to stakes; when the grass in their area is eaten, they will be staked somewhere else in the yard; a fine way of mowing if I do say so myself. We are jamming out to the only radio station we could find. We got to see more of Cochabamba during the twenty or so minute drive out here; Bolivia is an amazingly beautiful country; I feel very special to have the opportunity to be here, and already feel at home. I would like very much to hear from everyone, whether email or airmail..hope everyone is doing well..take care!
